Conversation AI no longer waits for the customer to text first. With AI Campaigns, you can reach a whole audience from your Contacts page in three clicks. Your Conversation AI agent sends every contact a personalised first message, follows up automatically when they go quiet, and when they reply it answers questions, handles objections and books the appointment.
Mass outreach and static templates send everyone the same message, and most of it gets ignored. Before reaching out, the agent looks at each contact's past interactions with your business and writes a personalised message for that contact. Messages built on real context get replies; blasts don't.
- Database reactivation in three clicks: Go to Contacts → AI Campaign, pick an audience, choose your agent and click Start campaign. No workflows, no templates and no lists to export.
- Ready-made reactivation segments: Pick a prebuilt audience: Contacts who engaged, Uncontacted new leads, Open opportunities with no activity, No appointment since or Opportunities lost, each in a 7, 15 or 30-day window, or set a Custom window. Already have an audience in mind? Choose any of your existing Smart Lists, and the campaign will reach exactly the contacts in that list.
- Or select your contacts: Select contacts on the Contacts page and click Start AI campaign in the bulk actions bar. It works for a hand-picked list, an imported file or a filtered view.
- Personalised opening messages: The AI looks at each contact's past interactions and writes a personalised opening message from that context, guided by the agent's Outbound opening message, with custom values like first name.
- The agent handles every reply: Turn on Assign this agent when a contact replies, and the same agent picks up every reply with its full prompt and actions, such as Appointment Booking and Human Handover.
- Automatic follow-ups: With the agent's Auto Follow-up, every campaign becomes a multi-touch sequence: up to 5 follow-ups per conversation, each on its own timing. Follow-ups cover the contact who stops replying, says they're busy, or asks to be contacted at a specific time. They are written by the AI in context, use your own message, or trigger a workflow, and they stay inside your follow-up hours in the contact's timezone.
- Send now, later or in drip mode: Send all at once, Send at scheduled time, or Send in drip mode in batches of your size, every N days, on the weekdays and between the hours you choose.
- Track every contact: Every campaign appears in Contacts → Bulk Actions with a live status. Open Statistics to see each contact's outcome (Completed, Skipped with the reason, or Error) and download the results.
- Safe and compliant by default: Do Not Disturb contacts are skipped, an AI disclaimer is added to every first message, and outbound must be activated on each agent.
- Enable Conversation AI | Outbound AI Agents under Settings → Labs.
- Set up your agent: in AI Agents → Conversation AI, create an agent, write its prompt and Outbound opening message, add Auto Follow-up and Appointment Booking, and set Mode to Auto-Pilot.
- Activate outbound: in the agent, go to Deploy → Outbound → Channels & activation, pick a sending number and confirm SMS compliance.
- Launch: go to Contacts → AI Campaign (or select contacts → Start AI campaign), pick a segment, your agent and the send mode, then click Start campaign.
- Track results in Contacts → Bulk Actions → Statistics.
- Channel: AI Campaigns send over SMS.
- Activation required: outbound must be activated on the agent, with a sending number and SMS compliance confirmation, before a campaign can use it.
- Sending schedule: campaigns send on the schedule you choose (now, scheduled or drip mode). The agent's working hours apply to trigger-based outreach, not to campaigns.
- Agent assignment: with Assign this agent when a contact replies on, the campaign's agent is assigned to the contact and handles every reply.
- Follow-ups: sent according to the agent's Auto Follow-up settings until the contact replies.
- Compliance: Do Not Disturb contacts are skipped automatically, and an AI disclaimer is added to every first message.
- Messages that know the customer: opening messages that draw on the contact's CRM data (open opportunities, deal stage and value, notes and appointments), so the first text is about their deal.
- Build with AI: describe the audience you want in plain words, and the AI builds it for you.
AI Campaigns is available in Labs. Enable it under Settings → Labs → Conversation AI | Outbound AI Agents. The same switch also turns on Outbound AI Agents with Triggers.
